It undergoes physiological movements, related to breathing, the beating of the heart, movements of the digestive tract, etc. With IGRT (Image Guided Radiation Therapy) we check the position of the different organs before each treatment session. If these are in a suitable position, the treatment session begins, confident that this is being done correctly. Otherwise, suitable adjustments are made to position the patient correctly, checking before starting the session that everything is in the right position before administering the treatment.
